A Letter from Tina

tina-fearon Opening up Free Spirit really was a dream come true for me, and at many stages seemed like an impossible one.

I used to look at really successful people in amazement and wonder how they did it. How did they get to live the interesting lives they did? How did they achieve their dreams when others failed?

I spent a lot of time reading books about all these great people (Thomas Edison, Andrew Carnegie and many more). I guess I was trying to find out their secrets - secrets to happiness, financial freedom, the perfect relationship and so on. Things we all want, but sometimes struggle to achieve.

Every one of these people seemed to point towards the same thing - That your mind has the single, biggest impact on every second of your daily life.

Bottom line, these great achievers were born the same as you or I, but they did one thing very differently - They used their minds in a different way!

As I really looked at this, I began to become more aware of how true it was.

At that time of my life, I was a beauty therapist working very hard for a very small salary.

I did this for about two years until the salon I worked in closed down. No other jobs were available in the area, so I rented a small space in a nearby housing estate. It was far from glamorous, let me tell you, but I was in business for myself and it was all I had.

It also put me in a position were I was extremely dependent on myself in order to make it a success. Failure was not an option!

Around the same time I heard, through my brother about a seminar that caught my attention. It was called an 'Educo Seminar', and it claimed to teach people how to use their minds to achieve the goals they wanted - basically, what the achievers I'd been reading about did!

The seminar was 2 weeks long, and I really didn't have the time to do it, but having realised how important using your mind in the right way is, I thought that this was an opportunity too great too miss out on - so I jumped on a plane and went.

It was the best thing I ever ever did.

If I could distil my biggest learning from it into one sentence, it is this universal rule. Your thoughts control your reality.

This simple statement and the knowledge I received from the Educo seminar, is what I base all of my results to date on and it's allowing me to have continued success beyond my belief.

I decided to put this on our website to make people aware that if they really realised the potential inside them, and what they're capable of achieving, they probably wouldn't sleep at night with the excitement.

I passionately believed in my goals for Free Spirit and it was that belief that made it happen.

So everytime you see another Free Spirit Salon opening, remember what I said. It all comes from the power within - the power to achieve anything you want. And you will only ever be stopped by your own limitations because they only exist in your mind.
