Reka Melagh

Originates from Hungary where she first started her career as a beauty therapist. It was there that she discovered her love for make up application, eyebrow shaping and nail treatments. To Reka simply applying make up and shaping someone’s eyes or applying nails in the traditional manner was never enough.

Reka believes that when she is doing an application for whatever the event is, her job is to make her clients glow and stand out from everyone else. To her this is an art form that can’t be taught but something that must be expressed between her and her client.

“It’s like when I see my clients face, I don’t see all their blemishes or perfections. What I do see is their potential. So take an artist, he never sees a blank canvas he always sees the painting before he starts, well that’s the way it is for me with my clients”.

Reka has been in numerous competitions around Europe, her most recent being here in Ireland where she came first for overall make up and second for Bridal Application.

Her experience goes far beyond that of a beauty salon and competitions, Reka has been involved in many of the well-known magazines such as Worthy Bridal. She has also been involved in many of her home country’s Television shows, photo shoots, catwalks, make up shoot, the list goes on.
